Pastor David Lin:

David Lin was born in Taiwan in 1963 and immigrated with his family to the U.S. when he was nine years old. David served at a Chinese church in Chicago for 15 years and received his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1991. In 2001 he followed a long-time calling from God to return to Taiwan to serve full-time as a missionary. In 2004 he, with a few co-workers, started Bilingual Community Church in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He and his wife Kathy have 4 children, Stephanie, John, Kevin and Genevieve.		 林懷光牧師

民國52年林牧師出生於台灣，九歲時與家人移民到美國。之後在芝加哥的一間中文教會服務了15年，並於民國80年從Trinity Evangelical Divinity school 取得神學碩士學位。民國90年神呼召他回到台灣做長時間全職的傳教工作。民國93年他和幾位同事於高雄縣成立了雙語社區教會。牧師和林師母(馮瑾思)有四個孩子，分別是林詠真，林詠輝，林詠聖，林詠恩。
Pastor David Lindsay:

David Lindsay was born in Louisiana, U.S.A. in 1967. He graduated with a B.A. in Theology from Liberty Bible College (Florida) which is where he also met his wife Suzanne, and received an M.A. in teaching from Regents University in Virginia. In 1999 he and his family came to Kaohsiung, Taiwan to teach at Morrison Christian Academy. In 2005, pursuing a leading from God, he and Suzanne decided to serve in Taiwan as full-time missionaries. They joined the staff of Bilingual Community Church in 2006. They have 4 children, Mary, Jacob, Joshua, and Emily.		 David牧師

民國56年David Lindsay 牧師出生於美國Louisiana州，並於民國80年從佛羅里達州Liberty Bible College 取得神學學士學位，並於該校結識了他的妻子，Suzanne。之後，另於維吉尼亞州Regents college 取得教學碩士學位。

民國88年因著他於高雄馬里遜美國學校的教職，他的妻子和孩子隨同他搬遷到高雄縣居住。民國94年，由於神的帶領，他和Suzanne決定以全職傳教士的身份在台灣服務。民國95年成為雙語社區教會的正式工作人員。他們有四個孩子，分別是Mary，Jacob, Joshua, 和Emily。
 
  What we believe 我們的信仰
  1. We believe that the Bible is God's Word, that it was written by men divinely and uniquely inspired, that it is absolutely trustworthy and has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

2. We believe in God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power. We rejoice that he concerns himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that he hears and answers prayer, and that he saves from sin and death all who come to him through Jesus Christ.

3. We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, sinless in his life, making atonement for the sin of the world by his death on the cross. We believe in his bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, his high priestly intercession for his people, and his personal, visible return to the world according to his promise.

4. We believe that all men by nature and by choice are sinners, but that "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16, KJV). We believe, therefore, that those who accept Christ as their Lord and Savior will rejoice forever in God's presence and those who refuse to accept Christ as Lord and Savior will be forever separated from God.

5. We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from God to convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ.

6. We believe in the Church - a living spiritual body of which Christ is the Head and of which all regenerated people are members. We believe that a visible church is a company of believers in Jesus Christ, buried with him in baptism and associated for worship, work and fellowship. We believe that to these visible churches were committed for observance "till he comes" the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper, and that God has laid upon these churches the task of persuading a lost world to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and to enthrone him as Lord and Master. We believe that human betterment and social improvement are essential products of the gospel.

7. We believe that every human being is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith.

8. We believe that each church is independent and autonomous, and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority; that, therefore, Church and State must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from the dictation or patronage of the other.

1. 我們相信聖經是 神的話語，乃 神所默示人手寫成，絕對可信。聖經是指導信仰與行為的最高權威。


2. 我們相信創造天地的 父神，是全聖、全知、全能的 神。祂憐憫世人，垂聽並應允禱告。祂施行拯救，凡藉 耶穌基督到祂面前，皆得脫離罪惡及死亡。



3. 我們相信 神的獨子 耶穌基督是聖靈感孕，從童貞女馬利亞而生。祂一生無罪，卻為救贖世人，願意被釘死在十字架上。我們相信祂從死裡肉身復活，被接上天，成為代禱的君尊祭司；並將憑著應許，顯明形象親自再來。



4. 我們相信全人類按其本性及作為，皆為罪人。然而，「 神愛世人，甚至把祂的獨生子賜給他們，叫一切信祂的，不至滅亡，反得永生。」（約翰福音三章十六節）。因此我們相信，凡接受 耶穌基督為主及救主的人，將與 神同在，永遠喜樂；凡不接受 耶穌基督為主及救主的人，將與神永遠隔離。



5. 我們相信聖靈自神而來，要世人為罪、為義、為審判受責；凡歸信 耶穌基督者，皆因聖靈而重生、成聖並得安慰。



6. 我們相信教會是 基督為首，所有重生信徒為體的永活屬靈團體。我們相信實體的教會，是由歸信 耶穌基督的信徒組成，藉著洗禮與 耶穌基督同死重生，透過敬拜、事工及團契彼此相交。我們相信實體的教會應持守洗禮及聖餐「直到祂來」；眾教會肩負神所賦予的任務，勸?失喪的世界接受 耶穌基督為救主，並尊 耶穌基督為主為王。我們相信人類社會的提升，乃是福音的必然產物。





7. 我們相信關乎信仰的一切事，每一個人單單向神負責。


8. 我們相信各教會應獨立自治，任何宗教或政治權威不應干涉教會事務。我們相信政教分離，彼此各司其職，互不相屬。
